Earth Week in Washington Park

Celebrate Earth Week by exploring boldly, traveling thoughtfully, and reconnecting with the natural spaces that make Portland special. For one Week, Washington Park will transform into a park-wide adventure. Wildlife encounters, work-class gardens to museums, forest trails, and playgrounds. 

Along the way:

- Join a free, educational activity at the Oregon Zoo entry plaza (no admission required)

- Explore spring blossoms and trees from around the world along 12 miles of Hoyt Arboretum

- Stop by the Visitor Center for a map and pick up a spring nature search to complete and earn a special seasonal sticker. 

- Create forest-inspired crafts and attend story time at World Forestry Center

- Experience the beauty and seasonal highlights of Portland Japanese Garden

- Wander through the iconic International Rose Test Garden
